ChMeetings Updates For November 2024

At CHMeetings, we’re committed to continuously enhancing our platform to make church management as seamless and effective as possible. Accounting Made Smarter

Managing your church’s finances just got easier with these updates:

• Print Checks Directly from Accounting: You can now print checks right from the CHMeetings Accounting module. Say goodbye to manual processes and enjoy a faster, more efficient way of working with checks.

• Bank Sync for UK Churches and Dioceses: Good news for our UK users! The bank sync feature, previously available only to US-based churches, is now extended to the UK. Dioceses can also access this feature now. Easily track and reconcile your church’s finances with this enhanced functionality.
  

 

A More Versatile Media Library

Your Media Library has evolved to give you more ways to store and share resources:

• Support for Links, PDF, and PowerPoint Files: In addition to audio and video files, you can now upload PDFs, and PowerPoint presentations, and even add web links. This creates a richer, more diverse library to support your church’s needs.

• Flexible Storage Plans: Branded app users get 10 GB of free storage for the Media Library. If you need more space, our new affordable plans let you scale up as needed:
  • 50 GB for $3/month
  • 100 GB for $5/month
  • 500 GB for $15/month
  • 1 TB for $25/month
    Manage your storage plan effortlessly under Settings > Subscription.

• Playback Controls: Snooze and Stop Autoplay: Take control of your media playback experience by snoozing the next track or disabling autoplay altogether. Perfect for personalized presentations or events.

Real-Time Event Registration Notifications

We’ve added a new Event Registration Notification feature to keep church admins in the loop. Now, you’ll receive emails and push notifications whenever someone registers for or cancels their attendance at an event. This ensures you’re always up-to-date with event participation.

Group Signup and Management Options

Our Groups feature received several important updates:

• Group Signup
  • Enable visibility settings for groups, allowing open or request-based signups.

  • Leaders with permissions can now manage join requests and receive notifications for pending approvals.

  • Members will receive push notifications for approval or rejection and can leave groups as needed.

• Assign the Account Owner as a Group Leader: This was not previously doable, but now, you can assign the Account Owner as a Group Leader.

Calendars

We have improved several aspects of the ChMeetings Calendar module:

• Wedding Anniversary Calendar: Celebrate this important milestone for your congregation with our new Wedding Anniversary Calendar.
• Enhanced Events iCal feed that now gets all events in the next 12 months and the previous two months.
• Improved Follow-up iCal feed that now includes the person’s location if the follow-up type is Visit.

 

Reporting and Exports

• See who sent text messages, from within the Text History Report, in the Sent By column.
• Export Profile Photos: Easily export profile pictures from the People section.

 

Coming Soon: Group Chat
