ChMeetings Updates For February 2025
This February has been a busy month, as always, for the ChMeetings Team. That means we released some very exciting features to help your church better manage finances and engage your congregation more closely. Here is what’s new:
Accounting
- Improved Reconciliation Process: You can now select specific transactions for reconciliation, lock them to prevent edits, and undo reconciliations when necessary. Reconciled transactions are clearly labeled for better tracking.
- Better Transaction Management: Bulk deletion of transactions is now available, and check numbers can be displayed alongside transactions for better financial oversight.
- Refined Terminology: “Expense” is now labeled “Expense/Charge,” and “Income” is now “Income/Deposit” for clearer financial reporting.
- Record Non-Monetary Gifts: Churches can log in-kind donations as $0 transactions while maintaining accurate records of contributions.
Online Giving
- Predefine Giving Amounts: Churches can set predefined donation amounts while still allowing donors to enter custom amounts. Minimum donation limits can also be enforced.
Branded App
- Group Chat Improvements: Now this feature supports up to 200 participants, with unread message counters, reaction options (Like, Love, Pray), clearer labeling for disabled chats, and easier access for group leaders, even if they are logged in as members.
- The Media Library got more flexible: You can now mix uploaded files and linked content (e.g., PDFs and videos) within the same media entry.
Other Updates
- You can now add Spotify to your Social Media Card.
- Add the contribution amount in words, to financial statements.
- New language: Portuguese (PT).
We hope these features help you work more efficiently and improve the church experience for your members. We would love to stay in touch; and if you’d like to keep up with our regular news, please check our Release Notes, which we provide every time there is an update to ChMeetings.
